May 2010. No WoW is not worth playing for PvP (Arena is not PvP), WoW doesn't really have any PvP. You should give AoC a try, it's been vastly improved since its terrible launch (and believe me if you didn't play it on release, it was probably the worst MMO release ever), but now I'd call it the best MMO on the market, certainly the best for PvP.
