Other apps like Zwift can log exercise, workouts, heart rate but the actual green fitness app on the watch is the one that logs HRR and will do useful things like log time spent in heart rate zones. I have not seen that for other workouts initiated/recorded by other apps. Seems like Apple can do a better job integrating that.

I guess that may be Apple uses this formula: target HR = [ (max HR - resting HR) x %intensity] + resting HR. And Zone 2 is from 60% to 75%. So for example: I am 30 years old, my resting HR is 55 and my max HR is 190. My zone 2 according to the watch is 134 - 147 and my zone 2 with that fomula is: 134 - 148.
